About Schaumburg, surrounding communities and school districts
Schaumburg, Illinois is located in the Northwest suburbs of Chicago, approximately 27 miles from Chicago’s “Loop” and 12 miles from O’Hare International Airport. A bustling and diverse community, Schaumburg is part of the “Golden Corridor of Commerce”, and with a population of over 78,500, it ranks as one of the largest incorporated villages in the United States.
Calvary Community Church is located at 1000 S. Springinsguth Road in the southwest corner of the village and is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Bartlett, Hanover Park, Hoffman Estates, Roselle, and Streamwood, but draws worshippers and regular attenders from communities as far as 17 miles away. Those communities include Algonquin, Barrington, Bloomingdale, Des Plaines, Elgin, Elk Grove Village, Glendale Heights, and South Elgin.
The greater Schaumburg area offers a wide variety of housing choices from apartments and condos, to townhomes and single family homes. Schaumburg itself has well over 12,000 single family homes and 21,000 multi-family units. Many park districts and recreational facilities offering programs for all ages are found in and throughout the various neighboring communities.
Because Calvary Community Church draws worshippers from such a large number of communities, it also encompasses a large number of school districts. Calvary Community Church is located within the service area of Schaumburg Community Consolidated School District No. 54 and Township High School District No. 211. Elgin School District U-46, Burlington School District, Glendale Heights Schools, and Bloomingdale School District are also nearby.
